A story of

Zach de la Rocha

Zach De La Rocha, 15 years old, is a proud and fierce member of the Vagos gang, born and raised in the heart of the West Side of Los Santos. Raised by his Mexican immigrant parents, Santana, a construction worker, and Muerte, a taco shop owner, Zach grew up surrounded by the grind of daily life and the harsh reality of street culture. The Vagos were like family to him—his father had connections with them, and Zach was quickly drawn into the gang life as a way to protect himself and gain respect. His skills in graffiti and skateboarding made him stand out, and he used his art to claim territory, leaving his mark on the walls of Los Santos while living by the Vagos’ code.

Loyalty is everything to Zach, and he’s determined to rise through the Vagos ranks. The streets taught him hard lessons—his best friend, Javi, was gunned down in a drive-by, a constant reminder of the risks that come with the life he’s chosen. But rather than deterring him, Javi’s death only fueled Zach’s ambition to prove himself. Now, more than ever, he’s focused on earning his place in the gang, taking on dangerous jobs, protecting his turf, and building his reputation.

Zach knows this life comes with consequences, but he accepts them as part of the deal. The West Side is in his blood, and leaving the Vagos isn’t an option—he doesn’t want to escape it, he wants to thrive within it. With his loyalty to the gang, his family, and his culture, Zach’s journey is about surviving and making a name for himself on his terms, while never turning his back on the Vagos who made him who he is today.
